Did you know?...The Rotary Club of Thornbury-Clarksburg is a member of Rotary International (RI) with over two million individual members. RI has a Foundation which supports clubs in their work in their own communities as well as around the world.
The RI Foundation is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
Our T-C Rotary Club supports the Foundation and some of our projects have benefitted through contributions from the Foundation. Examples of such projects include our community Covid meals support in 2020 and our 2021-2022 Uganda projects to build a water capture and storage system and new latrines in a small village for the Elgon Ngoma Troupe which helps street youth set their lives on a better path.
