For many years now, our club has sponsored end of year awards at our two local schools. There are various awards each year, including the following:
Georgian Bay Community School
- Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Award for most improved in Grade 12 French - $150
- Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Athletic Award for student continuing in Athletics related area at post secondary - $250
Beaver Valley Community School
$25 (plus $10 for the plaque) awarded for:
- Rotary Club Service Above Self – In honour of Murray Hammond
- Visual Arts Award – In honour of Harold Alexander
- Highest Academic Award (4 awarded)
