New Member Chuck Adamson and Friend of Rotary Linda Bennett were welcomed to our Club by Ellen Kalis.
Bina lives in Clarksburg and works as a licensed wealth manager , helping families achieve financial security and reach their life goals.
Having travelled extensively from a young age, she has seen the positive impact dedicated individuals can have on a community.
She is deeply committed to driving positive change locally and nationally, and prioritizes Canadian products and services.
She is excited to join the Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club to offer her project management expertise, build friendships, and
literally get her hands dirty as she is an avid gardener and is used to hard work.
Tracy is originally from Montreal. She lives in Thornbury with her partner, handyman and home inspector Scott. She has 12 grandchildren! She is a graduate of Western University in London and George Brown College in Toronto, and became a career counsellor. Her specialty was working with people with disabilities. Her two children are entrepreneurs. Her son and wife owns Gingerbug in Thornbury and her daughter owns Erin Estate Weddings in Erin ON. Tracy is eager to get more involved in meaningful service in my community. She believes that reaching out and helping even one person improves the community and the world!
Jacqui Viaene is a local Realtor, designer, and art professional who has called the Blue Mountains area home for many years. She is passionate about community, the arts, creating meaningful connections, and helping people wherever she can. Jacqui is a proud mother of two young adults and values family, friendship, travel, wellness, and giving back. She is excited to join the Thornbury Rotary Club, meet more people in the community, and contribute her time and energy to causes that make a positive difference.
Chuck was born in London, Ontario. He grew up in Ottawa where he graduated from Medical School in 1977.
He practiced rural family medicine and raised a family in Dundas County, 50 km south of Ottawa. After 36 years hemoved to Ottawa where he taught Family Medicine with the Bruyere Academic Family Health Team in Ottawa for 7 years, retiring in 2022.
He attended the Chesterville Rotary Club from 1980 to 1987 and was president for a year. He was made a Paul Harris Fellow for community service in the mid-1990s.
Linda was born in Ville St Pierre and raised in Lachine, Quebec. She attended McGill and Macdonald College to obtain her degree in teaching.
Linda taught primary school in Ontario from 1976 until retirement, taking a number of years off to raise her three children. She moved to Thornbury from Vankleek Hill, her home of 40 years, in September 2024 to be nearer her daughters in Thornbury and Collingwood.
